We stumbled upon this underrated gem, looking for a coffee, inspired by the soothing entrance way. From that moment on, we felt at home, Saleem and all the staff were very warm and every need was thoughtfully attended to (including laundering our clothes! ;) The location is just down the hill from Auroville Village, and walking distance to Auroville beach. I wholeheartedly recommend the facilities & team at the Tea Road Hotel and look forward to staying there whenever I can :)

I recently stayed here for the New years with my friends in the dormitory. The hotel is quite affordable and it has great ambience, the room looks beautiful too. They have a restaurant at the top where we can chill and the food is good too. The location is quite close to Auroville beach and the Serenity beach too. It is also not far from other touristy places. I had a great stay. The service is great and the management including the maids is super friendly and cooperative. Definitely recommend it to students or people who traveling in a group and on budget. 🩷

The best place to stay. Great interiors. Almost a regular visitor to the place. The hotel seems to have gathered all items for its interiors from China. You could see all the details in the furniture, AC, Plumbing Equipment etc. All are not from India for sure. That gives you a good experience of a totally new environment. The bed arrangement is quite different unlike the traditional hotel. The cost isn't that expensive and the food was also delicious. They have a variety of dishes and the serving portion was also very decent and also they were very delicious. I highly recommend this Hotel for every short trips to Pondy

Room was spacious but overall hotel and premises was not maintained! Near by Auroville beach!
